On Thursday, Wesley had his school perfomance. All the 2nd graders at his school preformed 50's songs. They all did a great job.

Valentine's Day, Family Style

Valentine's Day is always a day where restaurants are crowded and we always have to wait forever to get a table. This year we decided to go out on Saturday night and to spend it as a family. We went and had dinner at Lucille's BBQ and then watched a movie with Wes. We planned to watch Time Traveler's Wife after Wes went to bed, but neither of us were able to stay up and watch it. I love my two boys and they mean the world to me.

As some of you know we have gotten a dog. Wes has been asking about a dog for quite some time and he finally got his wish. Chloe was given to us by our neighbor. She got her around Christmas time and realized she did not have enough time for her. She knew that Wes wanted a dog so one day when Wes was playing basketball outside she told him, "If your mom says yes, you guys can have the dog". What adult says that to a kid! So of course Wes came running to us asking us to say "yes". He told us that he would feed her and walk her, but he would not pick up her "poops". So after Paul and I talked about it, Wes has a his dog. As for Paul it is not his ideal dog, but as you can see from the pics, she has grown on him.

Family Fun

On Friday we ventured out for some family fun. We went and did some miniature golfing, go karting, and Wes and Paul hit the batting cages. It was a nice way to end a busy week and spend some time as a family. Our schedules are very busy with Paul in school and Wes doing all of his activities, so it was nice to find some time to hang out the three of us.

Happy Birthday Wesley!

My favorite little guy is turning 8 years old today. Wow, time flies by way to fast. It was not so long agao that he was this little shy, quiet, chubby little boy. Now he is a boy that is full of life, that loves sports, loves playing with his friends, loves reading, loves school, and still loves cuddling with his mom and dad.

You will always be our little boy!
